Losing and dining
Thursday's Ponytail show at Floristree was funny. I've never seen so many people holding their ears (at Bear and Pieces high-pitched squeals) and simultaneously say they were enjoying themselves.
Saturday had me swallowing my pride at the Charm City Roller Girls bout as the Mobtown Mods kind of kicked our Junkyard Dolls' collective ass.
This week is Restaurant Week, yum. So get out there and eat at places you normally can't afford. And for God's sake, tell me about it so I can live vicariously through you.

That's funny about the Ponytail show...
In addition to putting a ton of effort to dress âuniquelyâ (aka âexactly alikeâ), Iâve noticed hipsters will pretend to like any band if they think it makes them look âartsyâ. Pretty much the same mob mentality as any other group- fraternity boys, hippies, thugs, etc. Hipster-dom just happens to be (from my observations) the most pretentious of those scenes.
All that said, there were some great shows at Whartscape last week, esp Golden Age & Celebration... awww yeah!!

If you're going out for Restaurant Week, try Meli. The portions are large enough to fill you up and the place is pretty cute. Just beware the upsell.
